Hysterectomy and daughters pregnancy update..

Patrece S.

So July 28th is the big day. Hysterectomy, left ovary removal and a biopsy. Do all my pre-surgical stuff the 26th of July. I wi**** were sooner so this pain could be gone sooner, but works well with the timing of my daughters delivery of the new grandbaby. Wouln't want to miss that for the world!

Her due date is July 16th, but the doc said he will be inducing a week early, if she goes that long. he is guessing she will not. She has 6 weeks to go and is dilated to 2 already. he is thinking she may go in 3 or 4 weeks on her own. In Colorado, Docs cannot induce more than a week early unless there are complications due to the altitude (decreased oxygen).

Her ultrasound yesterday revealed Braxten (her baby) weighs about 5 lbs 10 oz right now. If she carried to term she'd have a baby of at least 9 lbs or more. My second child was 4 weeks 3 days early and 9lbs 4 oz.. was a tough delivery, so hoping she will not face that.

So...there ya have it, the latest news for me.

Hope all is well with all of you!

Sorry to hear you are having to endure so much pain. Hope all goes well with the surgery and the pain eases a bit while you wait and greet your new grandbaby. Congratulations!

The time will fly by, you will be able to enjoy the baby and lift the little lad some before surgery restrictions start again. Take it easy my bestest friend. Lots of mega hugs

Thank you My bestest friend! ... Maybe the wee one will be light enough that he won't exceed the retrictions???? lol. I'd hate to give myself a hernia due to not being able to resist!..hehehe. Hugs back at ya lady!
