Bariatric Buddy
Newbie in the Group
Hi Cindy, welcome to our family. Welcome to the losing side of surgery, very recent too. I hope that your recovery was smooth. I had RNY 8 months ago and am so glad I made the decision for improved health.
I am married, 48 years old and we share our home with 2 small dogs that think they are BIG dogs, lol. Hope to read many more posts as we get to know each other better. Monday eve chat is a good place to get acquainted with members too, reminders with a short cut to the chat area are sent out on mondays. Hugs

I had my RNY July 21st 2008. I am down 116 lbs, at a normal BMI...YEAY have gone from a tight 24 to a comfy 8. I feel so much better than before the weight reduction. You will too. Hang in there and stick with the program for a life time of awesome success!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Hi Cindy. It may take a bit longer for you, but in the end, you will get there, and will have your tool to help you maintain a life time of success. I know many lap banders that have lost almost as quickly as RNY patients, but that is not the typical. You have the power to reach all of your goals! stay dedicated to your purpose and you will go far!
