Hi Colleen, I am really glad to hear that your pain level is decreasing..living with chronic pain is something you just can't describe to others. I have been on pain meds for a very long time, and also the duragesic patch for about 5 years. It did seem to help me more, but after that long on it I think it I started to become immune to it's effect. I feel much better since I took off some of my weight, but still have to take these stupid pain meds, which I would really like to get away from. I hope u continue to feel better, and I know with your positive outlook that you will not let it get the better of you. Take Care!!
Camping sounds like fun too. I haven't been camping since high school. I wouldn't have wanted to sleep on the ground when my knees really hurt. Too hard to get back up. My folks got a motor home after I was out of college, now I could get by in a camper or motorhome. Nice to have a sleeping bag that is not supported by the twigs on the ground. lol
Patrece, her family and I are having a grand time, hope everyone else has a great weekend too. Hugs

Glad you are getting out and enjoying life! Thats what life is for. My husband and I are supposed to take our camper and get in 3 days this next week. BUT I do have to leave a couple of times for appointments I have to make, during that time. It works out okay, because we are going very close to home, for our first camping outting of the year.
I am having a great time with kathy here. Will be missing her much when she goes back home. This is our third face to face get together since september. we just kind of take turns ruinning back and forth to see one another. Wish we were closer to each other for sure.
I hope the day comes i can meet many more of my Bariatric Buddies face to face. Its a fun time!
