Feeling pretty good

Well it will be 3 weeks next Tuesday since my surgery.  I'm feeling pretty good except for some bathroom issues, which I have seen seem to be typical.  I'm trying to find the point of fullness.  Sometimes I think I just eat too much so I am trying to scale back.  I have lost 20 pounds since May 4th.  I am so happy especially that I can fit into pants I have not worn for the past 6 months.  Even though the first week was hell, I am so happy that I made this choice.  This group is also such a wonderful support its fun to come back to read the stories, comments and to share.  Thanks all.

Glad to hear you're doing and feeling well.  Congratulations on the weight loss; 20 pounds in two weeks is great.

Sooo happy for you and your awesome success thus far! keep up the good work.
As far as eating too much, ar you measuring your food? You likely should be. This can be important early out to help transition you to eating until satisfied, as opposed to until FULL. Big difference between the two, and after surgery we don't want to eat until FULL anymore. It can dm=amage or stretch out the pouch and slow progress. right now you should be taking in abou 1 oz at a time in food (per meal). By 3 months you should be at 2 oz. (general guidelines...sme surgeons advice may vary and always try to listen to your surgeons advice.)

Your weight loss has been awesome! Keep up the great work!

I am not able to even eat 1 ounce of food.  But I will be more careful.  Good Idea.

At almost 4 weeks I only eat what I can, some how I just know when I am almost at or at the full point.  If I manage a 1/4 c of protein and or veggie/fruit combo that is a lot.  I am happy with that and try to get 2 protein shakes in a day with the fluids I am happy.  Of course the vitamins and any meds too.  Good job on the weight loss.  Isn't it great to be able to get into clothes that were getting too small or did not fit at all?  I am loving it.
