Had my post op check yesterday afternoon.  The 4 weeks is up and heading back to work on Monday morning (4 hrs ea day the first week).  Everything is good, I have lost a total of 27 lbs with the preop diet and all up to this point.  Getting in 2 protein shakes a day (1 is for breakfast) and fluids are going ok too.  I am going to enjoy every minute of these last few days off.  The weather is gorgeous here in West Bend, WI.   Thanks for everyone's support up to this point.

Hey there Cindy sounds like things are going well for you.  The weather has been very nice here in WI lately.  Looking at another great day today.  Good Luck back at work.  I have 4 weeks left but it is going so fast.

Hi Lucy -

Things are going ok.  I would have liked another full week but I will take half days to start off.  How are you doing?

Nice that the weather is good for your vacation Kathy & thanks.  At least I have half days to start back at work (8:30 - 12:30) so that will help me get back into the swing of things and a regular routine.  Things are going pretty good, finding some good seafood recipes that help me out in the food dept.  Love crab cakes and made some great tilapia tonight as well.

Happy vacationing & have a safe trip home.

Congrats on the weight loss and the good check up with your surgeon. Do take it easy on yourself as you transition back into working. You will likely tire easily the first week or two.  Great job on the protein and fluids and keep up the good food choices! Hang on and enjoy the journey!
I think Spring / early summer weather is finally here for us! It has been awesome!
Have a great remainder of your time off.
