A very early good morning
I'm up and attem' very early this morning; it's 3AM and I couldn't go back to sleep. I probably will when hubby leaves for work at 5.
My weight stayed the same so that was good. I always "worry" when I show a loss that it's just a flucuation and not accurate. I bought an outfit a couple of weeks ago; I'm glad I didn't pay a lot of money for it because yesterday was the first time I wore it and it's already a little too big; it's an XL. Not much I can do about the shirt but I think I can take the pants in about an inch on both sides without too much trouble. Nice to know I have a sewing machine that works properly.
I went to see the doctor yesterday and hopefully, my pain medication problem has been solved. I was taking liquid Vicodin in the equivalent of 8 Vicoding tablets a day to keep the pain under control. He said he wouldn't prescribe it anymore and put me on Fentanyl patches which are a class II full time pain reliever. It's a constant delivery and I change the patch every 3 days. My neck and my head feel much better today so they must be working. If we have to, the dose can be doubled so hopefully these will hold me for a while. The next step is medical marijuana. It is legal here in Michigan but it also opens a great big huge can of worms for me and as much as I would enjoy it, it would not be a good thing.
Nothing big planned for today. I might make some jewelry; I just got a shipment of beads and some of them are really cool pink ones for my line of breast cancer awareness jewelry. I'll be making a donation for every piece that I sell. I have PT this morning and hopefully enough energy left at the end of the afternoon to get to water aerobics. Now that I am on the Antivert and Midodrine for the dizziness I was thinking about trying regular workout again. Either way, it's confession time for me and my butt is in position for you all to give me a good swift kick.
I haven't had a protein shake in 4 days. I have taken about 3 doses of supplements in the last 3 weeks. I have to get on track with these things and I'm not sure what the problem is. It's not like it's too much work. I think I need to start really using Patrece's diary and stick with it. It's been hard to concentrate recently with the meds I was taken and then dealing with pain, but since neither of these are an issue anymore, it's time to get back into action. I'm starting to feel good and I don't want to lose that.
Ok, I have over 100 emails to read this morning. I hope you all have a great day.

Colleen, do glad that your pain is being treated and you are getting better relief. Now get you butt to water aerobics, there you have been gently kicked as you asked, use the journal, and do get in you needed protein, either in foods or supplements too.
You get a lot of email, some days I get a bit, but never quite that amount. Enjoy reading, shift your position every once in a while so you don't get stiff from one reading position, lol.
I am always thrilled when my weight stays the same and doesn't go up. Have a grand day, I am sitting here checking out the CO mountains from Patrece's dining room. The views are awesome. Constantly changing with the cloud patterns shifting. Hugs

Ok girl! Here is your kick... brace yourself.... (((HUGS))). Now just brush yourself off and put your heart and mind into this journey you have chosen! Skipping or missing the supplemental vitamins will not serve you. It will just increase your risk for nutritional deficiencies that will result in you feeling miserable and having other health issues. And YES DO use the journal! Consider too, other things we have talked about that could help you along the way!
You can do this. Just remember, this surgery wasn't a one time "have it, heal and go on" type surgery. It is a life time comittment, and you have to stay comitted to yourself and your journey to stay healthy, get healthier, and succeed over the long haul.
Hugs and love coming your way! Do get in those water aerobics when you can!. Try to take a no excuses approach.
