Sort of here.
Good morning all!
I usually post once a day and missed yesterday because I felt like someone beat me up with a baseball bat. Every joint in my entire body was sore and I could hardly move. I managed to get a few pieces of jewlery made but that was about it. I still don't feel that great but not as bad as yesterday.
I've been going to physical therapy for my neck but it isn't helping, it's getting worse. It is now causing me dizziness to lean over the desk. He wants me to not move my neck. Yeah, right. Ok enough whining, on to better things.
I have lost another 3.4 pounds putting me at 194.6 I was thrilled when I got on the scale this morning. I'm going to ride the emotional high for as long as I can because I'm not foolish enough to think that there are no more plateaus in my future. My ticker says that I have 49. something to go to get to goal. My PCP says he doesn't want me that thin and I've de****d that I will settle for 160 if I can't get to 145. I'm just glad the scale is moving again for now. I was bad and ate a piece of caramel yesterday. I told my mom it must be diet food cause I lost some weight! LOL!
I don't know exactly how the internet works but I found a site that let me build a free website. Of course, no one in the universe will find it the way things are now. But when I get my check at the end of the month I'm going to buy one year of service and a year of webhosting with my domain name (which is something completely different and over my head) and get my website published. I have been working on the website, taking and posting pictures of my jewelry and hope to be up and running by the end of the month when I get paid. I am also doing a line of breast cancer awareness jewelry with the pink ribbons and will be making a donation to the Susan G. Koman For the Cure Foundation for every piece sold. My mom is a survivor; she has been cancer free for 6 years now. Because I will have unlimited pages, if there is anything anybody from this group would like to get out there let me know, and I'll give a page, no charge. I'm excited about the website although I'm sure it will be a failure. I also have my first teaching gig at Joannes on Monday. At least I get a 10% discount that is offered to all the independant contractors.
It's going to be a beautiful day here. Sunny and 68 and there has been a beautiful breeze blowing my windchines around. It's only about 56 right now, but I still have the window in my office wide open and just enjoying the morning while I yap at my favorite folks. I should be able to get out on the bike today; maybe I'll take the metal detector with me and find some treasure! LOL!
I hope you all have a beautiful day, family.

Colleen, congrats on the losing. Will you please start thinking positively about your business and website. The success has to start with you or you will live up to your expectations, which are in the basement with your statements. I have faith that you will succeed. Just remember that we need to each have faith in ourselves and our abilities. Every time you catch yourself in negative thought patterns. Say "stop" and shift positions to a positive mental talk. Believe, strive, it will happen. Mega hugs

Colleen.. I second Kathy's post! Yes the internet is a huge sea.. but with time, effort and seo (search engine optomization) you will be found sooner or later. meahwhikle, try other ways to drive traffic to your site, like craigslist, free classified ads, fliers, ask friends you know with websites for a link, etc. Its a big job, I am still learning to get noticed by the search engines too. Just don't give up. usually when we do, we are 3 feet from gold (meaning we give up just before the big breakthrough that would have been!
Isn't it great how once the scale decides to start going again, it keeps on movin for a while?! Congrats to you girl! The carmel didn't help the scale go down trust me.. you were just lucky..lol.
So, don't decide to adopt it as your diet food of choice.. hehe..
Make the most of this time right now as you are losing again...before the next plateau sneaks up on ya! These are the times i lived for when i was still woring so hard to get closer to goal. Matter of fact I met my "I'll settle for it" goal of 154 (Marks a normal BMI for me) But have 4 lbs refusing to budge for the time being.. But i'll get those 4 little buggers yet!
So thankful your Mom fought and won the fight against breast cancer. I think it is great you are starting a line in support of that cause. Bless your heart!
Hugs and have a wonderful day! Hope you feel better soon.
