Can't find a quick reply button, only quick edit
Alright, who is the wiseguy who thought screwing around with the reply system was a good idea?! LOL! I couldn't find a quick reply button, so I just decided to do a new post. I write like I talk, in other words I can't keep my mouth shut or my fingers off the keyboard.
Vickie, I loved your story about the human you rescued. I rescued a cat, but I thought when I went to the shelter to rescue one it was my choice. All of a sudden a black furry leg and paw was stretching out at me as I was walking by, so I always say he picked me. He lives like a king around here and I'm pretty sure he was abused and abandoned when the animal control people got him. He is my baby even if he doesn't always like it! LOL!
Well, my business is underway. I have spent a total of about $400 on beads and tools and it's time to start making jewelry and build up an inventory. I will be making necklaces, bracelets, cell phone charms, purse and belt loop charms and maybe earrings. I was going to rent space at our local flea market, but I'm now seriously considering a website. If the little bit of research I did today is accurate, a website is a lot less expensive than renting a booth. We shall see.
I'm feeling really guilty right now. I had some pasta for dinner. The sauce has a fairly high amount of protein; it's a chicken side dish from Kraft, so at least I got some protein out of the deal. Tomorrow I start working full time on my book from the tele-class. Patrece you were terrific and you will be great doing this as a business. I didn't eat much at all today so I don't think it's going to make much difference on the scale. However, my meds and supplements are all screwed up. I love Don with all of my heart but it's much easier keeping my schedule when he is working and he's been home on vacation all week.
On the upside we did get a nice ride on the motorcycle today. I am kind of bummed out because it was probably the last time I'll ever where my leather jacket with the fringe. When I first got it, I could get it on but it was tight. Now it is way too big for me. Don can tell the difference when I'm on the bike; he can lift it up straight with me on the back of it and it's definitely easier for me to get on and off. I can tell the difference in my flexibility.
I hope they get the reply buttons fixed very soon.
Love and hugs to all.
Colleen

Colleen, the reply has been fixed, the last 24+ hours of adjustment to the latest update were frustrating, but things are getting back to normal. I enjoy being able to hit reply and get reply. lol
Are you going to try to adjust your leathers down a little in size? Big challenge to sew on leather.
How did Don's test come out? Well I pray. Catch up with you in the morning. Hugs

Yeay Colleen! So glad your business is underway! The only thing to bear in mind with a website, is you have to get people to it! Thats what I struggle with right now. It can take a long time to get "up there" in the search engine results.. BUT with that said.. I would like for you to PM me. I want to talk to you about something regarding your new business... So if you see this reply.. PM me!
Thanks for the kind words on the call. I hope it will help you in your journey to success!
