Good Morning!
Hi everybody!
I got up early this morning (6AM, not too bad) and got busy. Got the coffee pot going, cleaned the kitchen, I only have the floor left to do, got some laundry going, shopped online for Avon and beads. I still really need to finish getting my dining room back in order; I've only been picking at it every once in a while when I walk by.
I had my first session with the physical therapist yesterday. They used ultrasound on my neck, a TENS unit and a hot pack and then did massage on my upper back, shoulders and neck. I don't hold out much hope that this is going to solve anything but I'll play the game for the month they have me set up for. We'll see.
Hubby is on vacation this week and today is the only day we don't have any doctor appointments or anything but it's not going to be very warm so there will be no ride on the motorcycle. Bummer.
I couldn't hold out anymore; I got on the scale this morning. It has taken me two weeks but the 5 pounds I gained is almost gone. I'm down t 201.6 which is a total loss of 79.8 pounds. I'm not eating much but am getting my shakes in and I think it's making the difference. I probably won't have a chance to get to water aerobics this week while Don is home, but I can get back to it next week.
I tried my hand at sewing a patch on the back of Don's Harley jacket yesterday and failed miserably. I was using a seam ripper to take the patch off and accidently made a cut in it. I took it to the shop that we normally have do this and she can hide the cut and sew the patch. I'm also having her put a patch on my leather vest.
Well we are off to go shopping at Hobby Lobby and Sam's Club. I'm sure we'll spend a fortune on a bunch of stuff we don't know but there you have it.
I hope you all have a great day and I hope that everyone loses a pound or two as well.
Colleen

Colleen,
Enjoy you time with your hubby, even if you don't get to go for a bike ride. Who knows maybe one of these afternoons it'll be beautiful out and you two can sneak in a short ride anyhow..
Bummer on the Jacket getting a little hole poked in it. Glad the gal who usually does it for you can hide it.I have never been the best at sewing those patches on. They never end up quite where I start them..lol
Have a good shopping trip. I usually end up at hobby lobby once or twice a week, while my hubby is in his computer class. Today is the last class for him thank goodness! Eliminates 2 trips out per week and 2 days of spending money I really don't need or want to. Not that I usually spend alot.. His classes are 30 minutes from our house and last 2 hours. Just right so it makes no sense to come home and go back to get him.. s then I have to figure out how to blow that time. So I am really looking forward to today being the last of that.
Hoping all is well with your husband Colleen. Please let me know what is determined. You are both in my heart and prayers.
