Good morning to all

I hope everybody is having a good day so far.  I don't know what is wrong with me but I feel a little off.  Not sick or anything like that, just not "right."

We finally have most of the house put back together after having new carpeting installed yesterday in the living room.  It looks so much better than what we had and I was finally able to get rid of an area rug that my husband had forever that I absolutely hated.  This is his house; he owned this before we were married.  When I first moved in it reminded me of a furnished rental property.  It had furniture but nothing else; no touches of home I guess is the best way to put it.  I changed that real quick.  This is not a house we live in, this place is now home.

I'm a little concerned about hubby right now; he has to go for a CT scan of his stomach; they think he might have a tumor.  He just had an ultrasound done and that's why they are sending him for this.  I hope it's nothing.  Of course, I'll be a basket case until he gets the tests results back; I tend to panic over everything.

I am going to try and get some sewing done today.  Don wants me to sew a patch on the back of his jacket, my mom wants me to fix the lining of her winter coat and I haven't touched any of my qiulting for 2 weeks.

I've had a protein shake this morning; that in itself is a miracle.  I am on a medication that is in the amphetamine family and ever since I started taking it, I have to force myself to eat.  You would think the weight would be melting off under the cir****tances but it's not.  I haven't weighted in two days which is a miracle for me.  I'm like a junkie that needs a fix when it comes to the scale.

Well that's it for me.  Have a good day all.

I will keep you and yur husband in my prayers. I sure can understand how fearful you must feel right now. When will the CTscan be done? I hope and pray it is nothing serious. Know you and your husband will be at the top of my thoughts and prayers for an excellent outcome to this. Please keep us posted as to the results.

colleen, sorry to hear about the problems your hubby is experiencing.  hope everything turns out great.  i know about being scared, my hubby had a cancer scare also.  good luck to you, my thoughts are with you.

if you don't eat enough your body will go into starvation mode so try real hard to eat.  your good health depends upon it.

you are a great gal and i'm sorry you have been going thru so much crap lately.  hope things ssettle down for you real soon.

love ya, vick

Hey Colleen, keeping you and your hubby in my thoughts and prayers. I can understand the worry, I can have an A#1 case of worries from time to time too.

I started my day craving something warm to sooth my throat from coughing, yup sinus drainage, eeeeekkkkkk. Warm sugar free jello hit the spot. Now the stuff I cough up from sinus drainage is lime green in color, yes, had lime jello.

Just like a baby, tummy full of warm liquid and back to bed I went. Just worked on chicken noodle soup. Great for loosening us the sinus too. Today feeling a little better, I called in ill for work last night to allow the antibiotics a day to kick in first. Fever and chills are gone, yeaaaaaaah

I may even try a short dog walk this afternoon. The dogs will be surprised, I felt so bad all weekend, the only time they got out is when Dennis took them with to empty the trash.

Congrats on leaving the scale alone, major non scale victory for you. Hugs
