I have a question not sure if you can answer this or not

Where would I find a restaurant card? Ok let me explain what I am asking about .. the little cards that fit in your wallet says you had gastric bypass and cant eat a lot please let me order off the kids menu. I got a card before my surgery from the clinic however it is half a sheet of paper and thick like cardboard. I was hoping I could find something smaller somewhere. Yes I am guilty we got out a lot to eat, but I try to order food to best fit my new life style. But it ha**** me the last few times we went out I'm tired of bring home some much food and wasting it because I don't eat it all, and its only good for a few days. I tried to not order just eat a little bit off the hubby's plate but I don't always like what he gets or want what he gets.

If some one could point me in the right direction, website or something I'd appreciate it

Thank you
Miss

I got the small wallet size card you are talking about from my surgeon's office.  Now I haven't used it.  I either take bites off my hubby's plate, it is cool to share a meal, or I order a togo box with my meal.  I find that what I put into the togo box will feed me for 2-3 more meals.  Dennis will often nibble from the box in the fridge too.  I look at the leftovers as just excess and if I don't eat it, life will continue to go by.  It is not the end of the world to toss unwanted food.

My hubby just chuckles when I tell him I am a cheap date as we share a meal.  I would check with your surgeon's office again for the smaller card.  Best of luck.

I also have a small card the doctors office gave me.   I have used it once.  It is good when you go were there is a buffet.  Check with your doctors office. Good luck.

I found a website that has cards. You can pick the one you want. Here is the link. I hope it helps.

I've never used the card I got from my surgeon, either. I just order soup and/or salad bar when I can. Other times I get a to go box and split it up into 2-3 meals. I figured I didn't pay extra before WLS when I ate enough for 3 people, so I'm not asking for a discount now. LOL!!
