Oddly enough I am used to have 1-3 at most periods per year.  I like this!  However what I don't like is that this is now the 2nd one I've had this month.  Now this ****** me off.  Sorry bout the language.  I had to send the kids to moms today and I slept all day.  My nephew had to wake me.  What was that about.  I just slept and slept and usually I don't sleep during the day.  I didn't get up to drink, eat or toilet, just slept.  Thing is I still feel tired.  Kids are back and in bed and I guess tonight I will be able to sleep instead of staying awake all nigh****ching t.v or getting on line.  Usually if I do fall asleep I end up waking within an hour or so.

The scale is stuck.  I think I might throw it! Just kidding but it did seem to just stop moving either way and that should be better than gaining.  I think it is time that I go see the doctor again.  Maybe this time I will come home with something to help with my moods.  I don't want anything to help me sleep though because I am afraid more so paranoid if something happens (fire, breaking something of that nature) I will not hear or be able to wake up.  Scares me to death so I would just rather not sleep.

Time for a shower ya'll!

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read an article somewhere about losing your periods when you gain weight.  I was having one period a year for about 2 years and just assumed it was menopause, bit I've lost almost 80 pounds since surgery and still don't have any.  I would definitely talk to the doctor about it.

Well, I know that with obesity you may lose periods its called PCOS and I think that when weight loss occurs you should start to have them again but I haven't lost that much weight is what I was thinking but I don't know for sure.  2 in one month is not cool though.  It is just too much for me since I don't care for them but then again who does

Ive been really moody lately so it is either from this or the fact that I'm eating water! I am laughing that I just said I am eating water but its true.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I just needed someone to vent to.

Hey Gigi, no topic too far off. I too, thought I was going through menopause, and I have PCOS, then during the rapid weight loss, when my fat cells were releasing stored estrogren, the peroids showed up again, yuccccccck

I agree, a visit with your MD is in order.  A mood stabilizer should help.  Many of us with obesity suffer from depression.  I would not be without my antidepressant.  Makes my life stable.

Do you have sleep apnea, wake yourself up snoring?  Poor sleep from apnea will cause exhaustion.  I love my CPAP machine, made a life difference when I got it a few years ago.  Since surgery I have needed less pressure into the mask, still not ready to give it up.  We will see what happens as I get closer to goal.

Try your best to not step on the scale more than once or twice a week.  I know that is hard, do your best.  Hugs

Plateaus are so very normal...now and after wls. Our bodies just have to have time to catch up to all the hanges we are putting it through.. never fear... it will move again (the scale that is).

You may be tired from the weight loss, or maybe you are getting sick? Hope not!
But listen to your body... it knows what it needs to get back t feeling better.

Good luck at the doctor. Hope you are feeling better ultra fast! Let us know how it goes!
Hugs

I think that you're having the extra period is your body changing.  It's a good sign isn't it?  Having a period means your body is cleansing itself and possibly you are regulating.  Or it could just be your irregular periods, you're right.  I would talk to my doctor and see the gynocologist.
