pre op-not as bad or hard as i thought it would be

so i'm in the 4th day of my pre op diet and guess what, it's not terrible i think it's all in my head if i think it will be terrible and i will starve then i will, if i remain positive then i will be fine.  Also i'm sure it helped that i changed my eating habits back in Jan of this year, i think without those months of new way of eating, this time would be more of a challange and difficult.

Thanks and love for all the support i am shown here.

Wow.. you are doing great losing weight pre-op! Good for you! I am glad that you are finding this time to be not as challenging as you feared it would be. That always makes it that much better to endure! good for you in taking the positive steps in your eating habits back in january. I bet you are so right, that doing that helped make this part easier.
Congrats on the upcoming surgery! You are gonna do great!

first let me say that Patrece you are looking very FAB! and you are so right, before my pre op i went through my food mourning, and now while i am out i find my head trying to tempt me to going to a fast food place, but then i think about the scale and how it's going down and i tell myself i am not hungry and i am on this pre op for a reason, i tell myslef this food i can have later months later just in moderation and not as often and who knows i might not even want it then-lol

i have to remain strong mentally but i like seeing the scale decrease, so i will stick to my pre op plan

Just keep in mind where you are going!  It makes it so much easier.  Also, when you start stepping on the scale and see whats happening....no problem!

Shawn Marie, I found the pre op diet very tolerable too.  Eventually counting down the number of shakes till surgery.  I may have whined a time or two, tis alright.  The best thing to do is to keep a great mental attitude, the rest will slip into place.

I am here to walk beside you on this grand adventure.  Hugs
