Welcome home!  You just went through major surgery and you have a lot of new things to get used to.  One day at a time.  It took me a few weeks to get some of my energy back but it did come back.  You'll be fine.

Congrats!!!! Welcome to the losers bench! Yep.. you will start to feel better soon. I noticed a big difference at about 5 or 6 days out.
You may want to just schedule your protein supplements and meals for the day, and stick to that schedule ntil things become more familiar to you. I am not sure what eating plan your doc has you on, but if you just try to set each meal / supplement time as evenly spaced out as possible, this will help. Don't let yourself eat until you feel stuffed, just until satisfied. You will learn quickly how this feels and when to stop. An ounce isn't much, and this is probably all you are to take in at each sitting. Just do your best to get the meals in and to eat them slowly. You may not always be able to get in the full oz, just listen to your pouch.
So sorry to hear you were feeling so sick. I hope that has all passed for you now.

Hey, welcome back! The worst is over!! Now you have to take it easy, rest, give your body a chance to recuperate. I wouldn't worry too much about food at this point. You just had major surgery, your innards have been rearranged and they are probably sore and swollen. Don't make them work too hard! Just make sure you get your liquids in, especially water. You don't want to get dehydrated. You will feel better in a few days. Take care of yourself.

Welcome Home!
Sorry you had such a bad time in the hospital, but hopefully that is all behind you.
Take it easy, but remember to get little walks in though out the day.

Welcome to the losing side of surgery Krissi ! ! !

During this immediate recovery phase, sip, sip, sip, walk short distances several times a day and listen to your body when it says "nap time".  As the days slip on by, things will improve.

Looking forward to walking this adventure at your side.  Come post as often as you can.  Hugs
