ok last night I had some chili for dinner (a little on the spicy side) around 9-9:30
Around 10-10:30 (after taking a stool softner pill) I start feeling "icky"

I had a lot of pressure in my throat - like I had a big burp that had to come out, but wouldn't
"burning" in my chest, and when I did burp.. it had  funny taste.

I am not sure if my pill got stuck or if the chili gave me acid reflux.. I have never had problems with either before...

I called by dr. and am waiting for them to call me back..

I am afraid of a stricture.. Any thoughts?

By the way... finally down to my all time lowest weight as of this morning!
Now each lbs is a new achievement!

WOOOOOO HOOOO on the lowest ever weight!  Congratulations to you ledaizey!

Not sure what to make of your symptoms. The doc is a good place to start. Could be the pill was just stuck. The spices too may be what was coming up, maybe they were just not going through well. It coulod be an early symptom of a stricture, but could also be a food intolorance issue as well.. or??? Glad you called your doc!
Hope you are feeling much better very soon. Please let us know what you find out.

Congratualtions on your new weight! Now every lb down will be a milestone. I hope you are feeling better now and have heard from your doc. Hopefully, it was just ths spiciness of the chili. I sometimes feel pressure in my upper chest after eating and if I "burp" myself by patting that area til air comes out, it helps. There just is not enough room in my pouch for food and air at the same time!

Take care,
Rhonda

It sounds like it's probably the chili, but it's always best to check with the doc.

Hope you are doing better soon and congratulations on your weight loss!
