Hi all; thank you for the well wishes and concern.

As most of you know, I have been struggling with vertigo, balance problems, and a condition known as orthostatic hypotension.  I'm constantly dizzy and light headed and my balance is out of whack.  I had an extreme episode on Sunday to the point where I felt like I was going to pass out all day and couldn't walk without staggering and falling into the walls.  I finally couldn't take it anymore and went to the emergency room Sunday afternoon and was there until yesterday afternoon.  They ran tests and kept me in observation until I saw my PCP and then the neurologist which wasn't until late yesterday afternoon.  It turns out that is it was just a severe episode of what I deal with every day.  Next time I'll know and won't panic.  Felt better yesterday and loads better today even though I didn't get much sleep last night.  It's just one of those things that I will have to let run it's course when it happens again.  Hopefully it won't be too often.

On another front, I go see the surgeon this morning.  I called the nutritionist last week and told her that I was thinking of cancelling my appointment because I didn't want to get yelled at because of the slow weight loss.  She is going to go through and help me with some things and also told me she will tell him to take it easy on me.  As of this morning, I'm 200.8, which will put me at about 204 on his scale.  Still a loss from the last visit but a small one.  But I'm still happy that Onderland is so close.  It has been a very long time since I've been below 200.  Had to buy some clothes; it was weird getting them from the misses size section instead of the plus size.  My mom is helping out a bit with some of her stuff that is too big for her so that is helping, but Im running out of pants right about the time I figured I would.  I guess it's a good thing it's almost summer and I'm learning to sew.  I'll be wearing alot of home made shorts and capris this year.

Too rainy for the bike today, but am going to get my nails done and a pedicure after the surgeon this morning.

I hope you all have a great day!

Thanks for the update Colleen, I would have reacted the same way you did.  Sounds like alarming symptoms.  Take care on your bike.  Wear your helmet.
