I AM AT A PLATEU
Miesha, you will go through plateau's probably many times along this losing path. If you are having trouble getting in your fluids and protein, you have your answer. Continue to do your best to get in the fluids, proteins too. Your body is going through a phase where it thinks that no food or fluids are going to come in anymore and holding onto every ounce of fluid that it has. As your intake improves, your body will then know that there is a steady supply coming and start to release the "saved" fluids.
Hope the fluids issue resolves and you start to feel better. Do not despair, this will change and soon. Hang in there. Hugs

Don't worry Miesha, you will start losing again! The same thing happened to me at 3 weeks. I had lost a similar amount and then nothing for about 2 weeks. I had read here and other places that stalls often happen at about 3 weeks, but even knowing that, it was still hard not to panic and think "what if I went thru all this and STILL can't lose weight???"
But that is just our minds playing tricks on us. Most of us have a long history of dieting and losing, then regaining, or trying to diet and failing. So it's hard not to think we won't be successful this time either. But we WILL because this time we have something we didn't have in the past - our new little stomach that handles food much differently than we ever could in the past. Just try to be patient and ignore that spiteful little voice in the back of your head trying to convince you you're gonna fail again. Because you WILL start to lose again, and you WILL be successful this time. Just do the very best you can to get in your fluids and protein. It WILL get easier to up those numbers in the weeks to come.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Plateaus will come and go throughout your wls journey. Had my first at 11 days out, lasting a week and a half. It will pass. our bodies must catch up with all thats happening. PLEASE do try to get in more fluids, this will help for sure. But be patient, and don't feel bad, this is a very normal occurance. I plateaued once a month for the whole time and still am down 115 lbs. The last 6 just recently. I will be 2 years out in 3 months. Am in a loose size 10, about ready to attempt an 8, but not sure I am there yet. I have one lb officially to go to b at a nornal BMI. Hang in there all WILL be well!

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Welcome to the "3rd week stall club"! LOL Believe me when I say, it's nothing to worry about. I went through exacttly the same thing you are going through in the third week post-op and after having lost almost exactly the same weight you have in the first 2 weeks. As it was explained to me, the body goes through rapid weight loss the first 2 weeks due to the complete emptying of the bowels and all sorts of liquids that have built up both pre and during op. On the third week post-op the body tries to strike up a new balance and stops losing weight for a while. Don't worry, stick to your doc's directions and the weight will start dropping again soon!
