Bored... Been up since 3 am

  Where is everybody at this morning? I know there are a couple of yall that usually beat me to posting in the mornings.
  I have been a lurker on OH since I got up at 3 am.
  And there hasnt been a thing of good value to read at all yet. That I havent already read.
  I just couldnt get comfortable last night, and at 3 I was tired of tossing and turning in the bed, so I got up and started my day early. lol
  So I guess I will be bouncing all over the internet for a while until someone else gets up.
They say the early bird gets the worm... well this morning the worms were still sleeping too.
Hope you all have a wonderful day, and post lots of goodies for me to read when I come back to OH.
  For now I am going to hit the treadmill for about 15 minutes, have breakfast afterward, then wait til time for my morning shake.

Good morning Linda... although it's afternoon for me by now! Do you always get up so early? I had the opposite problem. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Finally got to sleep this morning, late, and woke up in the afternoon I know, not very healthy but what can I do? My circadian cycle has been all messed up for a long time and nothing seems to help.

  Yeppy, I have been known to get up at three, but usually from a sound sleep and just wake up. I just couldnt get comfortable in bed last night, therefore I tossed and turned til 3 and then gave up out of desparation and headed for the coffee pot to start my day.
  I called in for a refill on my pain meds this morning too, so I am going to try taking 2 tonight and see if that helps.
  My muscles are hurting, cant sleep on my back, and when on my side I felt like I was sleeping on rocks lol.
 I have had my 2 oz yogurt for breakfast, done some treadmilling, and now is time to make a protien shake. So I will be sip sip sipping on it while on the computer for a while, then maybe off to my recliner for some TV time, hopefully I will rock myself to sleep.

Hey Linda! Good morning. Hope you get a nap in today. After my Plastic surgery, I had a hard time with sleep for the first 2 or 3 days out of the hospital. Hopefully this will pass for you very soon too.

Sounds like you are doing great with the protein and activity. Sip sip sipping is Good!

Amalia.. hope your sleep gets straightened around for you too! I know it is miserable being so tired but not being able to sleep until the weeeee hours, then losing half the day.

Linda, my sleep pattern for the first few weeks after surgery was a toss up too.  I lurked and read lots of things during my upset sleep times as well.  I was up at 3 am, then I am up at that time at least 5 days a week due to work. lol  That is my "what next" time if the night is going to be one of those nights at work.  I get past 4 am and the night will slip on by.

Did you wake any of those sleepy worms up?  I am seranaded by all the spring birds chirping when I get off work at 7:30 am.  Great use of your awake time to get in some exercise.  I am freshly up from my nap.  Headed off to a podiatrist appt to try toget new orthotics for my shoes.  The old ones were shaped for my larger weight and I am noticing that the fit is off.  Then I plan to take the critters out for a walk find something healthy for supper and back into nap mode.  Tonight is my last of my 10 day stretch of night shifts.  Whewwww
