Thanks everyone.. I really appreciate your support & caring. He'll be waiting for us at rainbow bridge... along with God only knows how many other animals we have lost over the years.

Sorry about your little kitty. My daughter and I hand raised 2 orphaned kittens several years ago. They hadn't even opened their eyes when the mother was killed by dogs and we had to feed them every 2 hours like you said and stimulate their little tummies. You get attached to them quickly and so I know that was hard on you and your daughter.
I like to think of all the animals I've loved and lost waiting on the other side too! : )

Thanks Rhonda. Yeah they are so tiny and precious, you can't help but love em quickly.  How sad about the momma of your kitties... those are some very aggressive dogs! Poor momma kitty!
Bless your heart for caring for them.

Yeah... just when we thought "ok he's gonna make it". He went from thriving to gone in less than 24 hours. they are so tiny, it doesn't take long when things turn for the worst. I buried him here at the house. The ground was so hard I couldn't even dig a propper hole, so i located an old abandoned golfer hole and made good use of it.  Those holes tunnel down and down and down... Just don't want critters digging him up..

Can understand not wanting him dug up for sures!!! Goffer wholes are good for something!!
When I first read about him it reminded  me of when Ashley, Elizabeth and Candice found those abandoned kittens and we each took some home to take care of them.

Yep.. as soon as i saw the little guy, it brought back those memories for me too... wow that was so long ago. Rissy was still going strong last I knew (4 years ago) when my Mom died. Her boyfriend took her (Rissy) after Mom died.
Boy that was alot of work! I don't know how i let myself get into these situations! lol.

Today Crystal our white Shep seems to be getting sick again, same as last time, vomitting up clear thick mucous. Just once so far, but I am very discouraged. So I guess it is back to the drawing board with her.
