I need some advise, I am now 4 weeks out, and have not poohed in a week.

Here is what i am eating.
1/4 cup cottage cheese x2 day
1/4 cup refried beans x 2 day
1/4 cup - canned chicken w/ lt mayo - 1-2 x day

I called my dr on Thursday and they said to try a softener.. I did.. and nothing.

I am still passing gas so I don't think it's a major problem, but any suggestions?
I just put another call into my dr.

AND I have not lost any more weight.

Your weight could be hanging in there due to constipation, also we do hit stalls. I would suggest to take a dose of Milk of mag to get your self going, drink plenty of fluids after taking it. Then get some miralax of a generic equivelant and take it daily. It mixes in smooth and tastelessly in whatever you are drinking. It is often the protein and not enough fluid intake that contributes to this trouble. I think most of us go through bouts of it.
Best of luck! I am sure once your bowels get moving again, the scale will reflect it.

Fiber is the trick then. I like benefiber or the generic, mixes in any liquid or food and no taste. I have mine in my crystal light. Best of wishes, stinky ones at that.
