today is the first day of the rest of my life.   uuummmmmmmhhhh, uummmmmmhhhh, uuummmmmmmhhhh  i will feel the sun shine on my face,  i will smell the fresh air,  i will feel the love of those around me,  i will feel the fortune i have in my life.  uuummmmmhhhh,  uuummmmmhhhh

today i go het a sonogram on my liver, wish me luck. i am sure everything is ok. only thing i don't like about this is that i have to fast 6 hours before the proceedure.  i wonder if that means water, that is all i really want.

spoke to a friend lasst night about nursing home insurance. they even have preexissting conditions on that type of insurance.  suckkkkkkkkksssssss!!!!!!  i just want to be able to take care of myself and not burden my children when i am old.   the deal with my folks has me concerned about this.  maybe the new law will help to change this, oh yeah, it is not health insurance.  rats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the friend i spoke to wants to speak to me about my paintings, maybe he wants me to do one.hey hey hey,  i hope he wants to pay for one.  i would do one for free for him though.

how are u guys doing today?  hope u are doing great!!!!!!    be sure and be kind to yourselves. drink a lot, eat right, get plenty of protein, plenty of fiber, plenty of exercise, plenty of rest.  remember that i care, alot.  take good care of yourself. hugs, vick

I picked up on the positive attitude and the flow of energy from your ummmhhhs, keep the meditation vibes a flowing my friend.  Your sonogram is done by now, praying for good results.

Your jokes thread is building up, quite a few have the funny side.  Thanks for the needed daily giggles.

Spent the morning and early afternoon sleeping, back to working after the weekend off.  When I stepped out of the house last night, dressed in a thermal shirt and my fleece coat, the wind has been bitter, shocking, happy surprise.  49 degrees out and nearly 11 pm.  This afternoon is got to the mid 60's.  Loving the nicer days.  Just returned from walking the critters.  We got a slow start, the poodle across the alley wanted to have some butt sniffing fun with my two pooches.  Of course they thought this sounded like fun too.  It is nice to have another small dog in the neighborhood.  Walked a couple of miles.  The red-winged blackbirds and robins have migrated back to the edge of the lake, singing their nesting songs.  The geese and ducks are pairing off, guess spring has sprung.  We could still get a good snowfall or two, hoping not.

I finished a wall hanging this afternoon, putting up a rod to hang it on and then taking a pic to share with the group.  The hanging reminds me of something vintage, tacked a combination of older buttons scattered about  on the hanging.  I started with a piece of fabric with a very large paisley pattern.  Pic a coming.  When are you posting more pics of your art work Vick?  Take the bestest care of yourself and your family.  Hugs
