today is the first day of the rest of my life and i truely hope to enjoy it. i will be brave and strong no matter what sh*t hits the fan.  ohmmmmmmm, ohmmmmm, ohmmmm i will succeed, i will cope, i will flourish, i will not cave in to the little things in life that come my way.

sounds more like wishful thinking to me. i go to my doc today and i am a little nervous.  i will let you know how things turn out. wish me luck.  don't know why these lab results bother me so much, just a feeling of forboding i guess.

when i get home i am going to vaccuum the house because of little dried mud drops that the dogs have  brought in.  we have been getting rain off and on around here lately. that's good, but it makes it difficult to keep the floor clean and to rototill the garden some more.

how are you guys doing?  hope u are taking good care of yourselves, eating like you should, getting plenty of protein, drinking plenty of fluids, exercising like you should and by all means, getting plenty of fiber for those wonderful bowel movements we all celebrate.  get plenty of rest also, be kind to yourself.  do you have anything planned special for today?

hugs, vick

Hey Vick, I too get those feelings.  Usually they turn out to be nothing, keeping you in my prayers that this is nothing for you as well.  Use the meditation and ohmmmmmmm's, they will help.  Do you have music or something that puts your mind into a good place?  I use music to do that for me, depends on the mood, what music will do.

I felt a sore throat coming on yesterday, took a nap in the early afternoon and stayed home from exercise and dog walking to drink extra fluids.  Throat is feeling much better this am.  I slept a long time last night.  Worked on layering quilts together and watching lifetime movies that I had recorded.  Almost went to work, and in the end did not.  This morning I am glad that the work things mellowed out and I did not need to go after all.

The other day, washed most of the basement floor, where the puppy pad rests.  Feels good to have some of those not fun tasks out of the way for a while.  Sewing around the quilts I layered yesterday and getting ready to post the weekly come to chat message.  My big event of the day will be chat this evening.  Looking forward to the caring and sharing that happens.  Have a great day Vick and everyone.  Hugs

Yes, Vick, almost good as new.  Sore throat all better.  It does pay to lay low every once in a while.  Trying to not catch the chest cold Dennis has.

Vick... that very first paragraph... sounds so insipting and awesome... hold fast to those thoughs to help get you through this day! Best of luck with the appointment. Hoping your blood work is looking better.

I hear ya on the mud, ou intermittant snow and rain has wreake havoc here too. Then my one dog I think i am going to have to break down and take to the vet. She vomitted yesterday and the day before. Feel sorry for her, and it too is taking a toll on the carpets. Good thing I have a steam cleaner, but what a pain! Hope it is nothing too serious going on with her.

Today I have to do another spot cleaning on the carpet, and get to work on cleaning this place. Blahhhhhhh

Have a great day all!

Kathy, glad you didn't have to go in to work! have fun with the quilting today!
