A good case of the blahs today

HELLO EVERYBODY!

Not feeling so great today.  Nothing I can put a name to, just kind of blah.  I had to get up early for an appointment with the shrink this morning and I'm sure that has something to with it.  The last couple of days I've been sleeping in until 9AM and that's un heard of for me.  Im usually up and doing by 6.
I finally broke down and took my computer into to have them run a full diagnosis on it so I'm on the laptop. My computer was a custom built from Hewlett Packard and has been nothing but trouble since day 1.

I wasn't even done babbling and my message posted.

We had something going on on the 17th so I made our traditional St. Patrick's dinner today. Corned beef, cabbage, potates and carrots and Irish soda bread.  I had a little of all but didn't go overboard and that's always a good thing.

Yesterday was a Colleen day.  I paid some bills, went and got my nails done and a pedicure and took care of something that  I have been putting off for 16 years; I got a tattoo that was poorly done redone.  I have a beautiful butterfly with Don's name between the wings.  It's actually quite a bit bigger than the one they covered up but I just love it.  I lost another pound and a half and have been feeling really "girlie" the last couple of days.  It was nice to be able to pamper myself and  not have to worry about the cost.  Of course, I can't spend like this forever but the last couple of days have been great. I was also able to get Don a gold chain that he had been looking at.

I did manage to get a mile in on the bike today so that was a good thing.  We've had dr's appointments like crazy the last couple of weeks and I haven't been able to get to the gym as regularly as I would like.

Well that's enough for me for now; it's time to shut up and go to bed.

Sounds like you had a fun pamper me day yesterday.  Even though you are officially not working, try to keep a regular sleep schedule.  It is good for the mind, body and spirit.  Hope the shrink appt went well.  Good to get in some exercise each day.  See my exercise note in response to Vick's post from this morning.  The dogs are quite a riot...

Blah days are just a bummer! Lord knows i've seen my share, and will see more before my time is done here.
Glad you were able to pamper yourself a bit the last couple of days. It is a nice thing to do for yourself when you can.
I keep swearing that i am going to go get a pedicure and a massage, but haven't ever done either yet. One of these days i am going to break down and do that! Another thing I have wanted to do for myself for many many years is get the tatoo removed, that i got almost 20 years ago, and have hated ever since. the dumb thing is on my upper arm too.. go figure. i wonder what it costs to get them zapped off? hmmm...

I have never had a custom made comoputer. have thought of it, but hearing what you have exoperienced, i am glad i didn't. i have an HP...my last 2 have been that, and use an HP printer, and headset etc. I really like the HP line. NEVER again will i ever get an emachine. That was the worst computer ever.

try to cheer up gal... you have been able to pamper yourself, you are off the plateau, life is getting better each day! I know it is easier said than done to get rid of the blahs, but do try, you are doing so great!

hugs and Love to you colleen. Let me know if I can help in any way.
