Amalia, hugs coming your way.  Get out the whip and beat the snack attack back down into submission.  Do not allow yourself to do the head talk of defeat.  Take a few deep breaths and start telling your mind that "I will succeed, I am worth the effort, I will succeed, I am worth the effort, I will succeed, I am worth the effort"  Take another deep breath and repeat the phrase, until it is ingrained in your thought process.  You are worth the effort and I am here to support you in your success.  Let the phrases become repeatitive, like a needle stuck in the groove of the record player.  I will succeed, I am worth the effort.  Know that I need to tell myself this from time to time toooooooo.  Hugs

ps, I applaud that you tried to stay up till 3 am for chat.  We will both be there again one of these days.  Until then, lots of hugs, you are worth the effort.

Thank you Kathy. I am worth the effort, I know it...  On the other hand, do I deserve to be hungry? Being hungry feels like I am being punished and I was never good at taking punishment. I'm trying to plan my meals and my snacks better so that I get most of my nourisnment from my main meals. The evening is the worst time for some reason.
Yes, I'm worth the effort and I'm doing everything I can to apply that effort, it's just very, very hard.

I have a goal of finally getting all my tests results back and getting everything squared away for my plastic surgery jouney next month...I got two dresses today to wear to mexico...so my goal is to get organized for my trip...LOL

Great Goals everyone.  I was able to attend the chat once I remembered.  I was working late.  My goal is to swim just a little bit more each time.  I'm up to 80 laps (back and forth) in an hour. My goal is to get to 90 for next week.  The exersize has helped I have dropped 7 pounds this month
