Now don't take this wrong, I am not promoting the adkins diet.. But they have a free program, and if you sign up for it, you get free sample adkins bars, but better yet, they send you a free Comprehensive carb counter book in the real postal mail, not a download.. I think this is a great tool and it is a great reference.

No I am not an affiliate, and make no money if you do this, just thought it could be very helpful to many of us who wish to watch our carb intake. you can get it here..

Yes I am excited! I cant wait to join you all on the losers bench. I weighed this morning and have lost 12 pounds since I went for my consult.
I must admit I cheated on my liquid diet yesterday... I just had to taste some meat n potatoes so I halfed a weenie with my dog and ate a small baked potatoe this morning, no butter and a dab of lite sour cream.
The hardest thing is being around all the cigarette smoke and I havent smoked in a while.
I wanna smoooooke...
And my shoulder is sadly not doing very well, I am afraid he is going to wanna replace it. Therapy didnt even help me get my range of motion back. It hurts so bad at times I cant sleep. But after I get my surgery and then my staples out (recover a bit) I am going to make an apt with him and set up an MRI to see what is wrong now...

Ohhhhhh!!! Thats terrible about your shoulder! Sounds like it is bothering you more thanbefore the surgery on it?

Ok so ya cheated... its ok. Now you just get back on track and go on! Good for you on the not smoking. It is veryyyyy hard! I know, oh i know! Stay strong...in both areas! you can do this, and it will be sooo worth it! Are you having an open RNY? Or the laproscopic? Just wondering because you made reference to staples.

I am having open surgery. The surgeon didnt say why but he said definately open. My sister will be having open also.
And will be staying 4 days or longer in the hospital, the nurse said typically 4 days tho. I will keep in touch and Vick can keep yah updated.
