weekend?

so what's everyone's plans for the weekend? it supposed to be gorgeous here in maryland! Will turn off the heat, open the windows! sunday we are supposed to go over to the neighbor's yard, load up the big tree that got knocked over in the double blizzard in february, put it in our truck, haul it away for them, then later supposed to go over my daughter's house, see her, the almost 5 year old twins she has, and she said she was making chili for me! LOL yum! so what's your plans?

I will be picking up my grand children (ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) today about 2:30. Keeping them for the night, and returning them late morning on Saturday. I have been missing them alot. If I don't see them at least once a week I feel so sad, and its been a week and a half. I was supposed to take them last week, but then had the strep, so couldn't. They keep this grammy hopping for sure!
Saturday Afternoon I have an event that I and my daughter are atending. It is a demo party on machine embroidery techniques. It is supposed to last 2 1/2 hours and be a lot of fun and learning. I recently got a new embroidery machine, so it will be great to learn the techniques.
I have not yet unpacked my nw machine, as it is higher than my lifting restriction, until Monday. lol.

We had really nice weather here in Colorado the past 2 days, but I woke up this morning to snow coming down! They were calling fo coler temps and rain.. go figure! This IS Colorado..

We had snow this morning too.  Supposed to be cold here in MN this weekend, highs in the 30's.  Today got up to 31.  I want the temps in the 60's like last weekend.  Scheduled for work, nights as usual, this weekend.  That means daytime sleeping and getting household tasks/cooking done in the late afternoons.  I plan to slip in a dog walk or two, depending on the weather.

Enjoy the grandkids.  Do not overdo with hauling the tree away.  Chili sounds good, I may have to make some toooooo.

Hubby works day shift this weekend, we will be on opposite schedules as usual.
