i weigh 136.2!!!!!!
well my weight is up to 136.2, 8.8 lbs from my goal of 145 that the doctor set.
I HATE IT!!!!! IT IS FREAKING ME OUT THAT I HAVE GAINED WEIGHT!!!!!!!
i know the doc wants me to gain weight for my health, but it scares me to death that maybe now i will keep gaining and never quit.
on top of all that, you wouldn't believe what i have been eating trying to put on some weight. i have been eating sweets, carbs, you name it for months now. kept on losing or staying the same until now. i didn't eat large amounts, but i was grazing all the time like i was supposed to. now i am afraid i have developed habits that i won't be able to break. i'm just scared.
thanks for listening to me. i just needed to vent after weighing this morning.

EXPERIENCE WITHOUT REFLECTION IS HOLLOW
Vick... It's great that you are getting back to a healthy weight! You needed to put some back on.. But now, it is time to start getting yourself back to following the basic rules of wls success. Start curbing the grazing and cutting down the sugar an carbs, and before you know it you will stabilize your weight and be where you need to be.
Your weight now is much healthier than it was, so don't let that bother you. Just start getting back in the good habits, take i a step at a time, a day at a time. You can do it! You did it once, you can do it again! I understand your fears and they are very real ones. Use tham as a tool to get you back to where you need to be. I am here to listen or help in any way I can.

Lost 114 lbs. working on getting rid of a recent 10 lb regain...and WILL succeed!
Vicki, if your doctor said that you needed to gain weight, I'm sure that it was absolutely necessary, 'cause doctors never encourage patients to GAIN weight if they are not in danger of something! Don't freak out. You have practiced all the right habits for losing and maintaining your weight for a long time. You are probably expert at it. Now it's time to get back to eating balanced meals like a normal person would. Don't think of yourself as an ex-fatty. Think of yourself as a normal person who needed to adjust her weight a bit. You'll succeed, I know it!!
vickie...I can understand how you feel...I am over 16 pounds below the goal the doctor set for me and I worry to death about gaining any weight....in fact, still losing a bit...but I freak if I see a temporary gain on the scale....but if your doctor wants you to gain some...it's fine that you have....you are a pro at losing..we just need to learn how to maintain! LOL
I am so glad that you succeeded in getting closer to a healthy weight for your height Vick. You can and will succeed. We are here for you, no matter the challenge. I applaud your success. Congrats girl. Hugs

I was wondering how that was going for you. I'm happy that you have been able to gain because you were really worried a few weeks ago about your health if you continued to lose. I understand that it is very scary to see the scale go up for any one who has ever had a weight problem, but in this case it is a good thing. Like everybody else said- you know what to do and how to do it. You did it before and have proven just how strong you are and that you have what it takes! You can do this lady - just take one day at a time and don't let your fear get control.
We're all in your corner and rooting for you!

Rhonda
