Bariatric Buddy
Good Saturday morning to all
Hey all!
I'm feeling a little weird this morning, but in a good way. I know a lot of it is just the relief of getting a diagnosis for the vertigo. I saw my doctor late yesterday afternoon and there is a medication he put me on that may help but the decision was made; no more doctors, no more tests. He has officially proclaimed me unable to work and feels that I shouldn't have any problem getting my benefits.
We got our tax refund and hubby sent me out with his debit card to buy my bicycle which is technically called a tri wheeler. I should have it by next Thursday and I'm getting really excited. I always loved bike riding and this is going to be a trip; the old lady roaming around the neighborhood on her tricycle! It's a metallic, pearly raspberry color; very girlie! I got a metal detector for Christmas and I'm gonna load it up on the back of my bike and go treasure hunting at the local parks.
As for today, I am relaxing here at my favorite place to be in cyberspace, drinking coffee and gearing up for a morning session of bingo with my mom. I made a shrimp, crab and tuna casserole for dinner last night and there is enough left for dinner tonight, or maybe we'll order take out. Either way, I'm NOT cooking! LOL! I got quite a bit of housework done yesterday so I'm not facing a multitude of chores. All in all it's looking to be a great day and I hope you all have a good one too!

And A good morning to you too Colleen. Hope you have a wonderful day. I am having my coffee right along with you, this time tomarrow morning I will be having decaf, and an HMR shake. OOOOOHHH my... I will be having caffine withdrawls lol.
I am really psyching myself up for the liquid diet for two weeks, HMR shakes and fruit... hmmm, I can do it. I will prolly spend the most of the next 14 days in bed.
I am being like the little engine that could hahaha.
Other than that I have no plans for the next couple weeks. Time has gone by pretty quick for me, I hope it continues.

Colleen, so glad your day is off to such a nice start! Glad to hear your bike will be under your behind in no time! Sounds pretty! You gonna get a harley decal for it??? lol.
Good luck on the disability going through for you, and i hope the med he puts you on helps you alot.
