wh at's up doc? and let me get to know you

whelp, today is another day. it is off to my shrink i go and then to meet my hubby for lunch and then to his urologist to get the report of the biopsy. keep your fingers crossed.

yesterday i made the nobake cookie. they are good. put more peanut butter in them for more protein, should have put more milk in. they sort of crumble way to easily.  stilll good though.

think i will try and vaccum the house today.  sort of seems a waste of time with the mud outside. it is time though, believe me.  maybe clean the bathrooms also.  already have most of the laundry done, thanks to my hubby.  nice to have the help again.

so what is up with you guys. hae any special plans?   hope u do, do something special for yourselves.  i wish more people would answer so i could get to know you. tell me about yourselves.  tell me what you like, dislike, your hopes, your fears, anything.

Best of luck with your hubby's test results. I sure hope they get to the bottom of things very very soon! glad he is feeling a bit better, but I know it will be a relief when they get it all figured out and treated.

Today, I have taken care of a call and a couple of things I needed to do. But my next plan of action is a nap. Was in the ER with candice again last night. Did not get to sleep until after 4 am. I am pooped! Worry over this girl is gonna kill me yet!..lol. I will be so glad when the little one is born healthy and is in our arms. So far everything is perfect with him. Just Momma having some challenges, but nothing too serious, just a bit painful and uncomfortable for her. It seems the combo of scar tissue from 3 surgeries (all laproscopic but all with thier own set of scars are causing pain as the baby grows and the scar tissue stretches, and then her braxton hicks contractions are all just making her very uncomfortable. At least all the severe morning sickness has ended a while back.
The late night ER call took a toll on me, with recovering from surgery and strep.. but I survived and am just feeling reallllllll tired and lazy today. Was Supposed to go get my hair trimmed today, but seems my stylist called off ill today, so that was resceduled for tomorrow.

I'm gonna read the rest of these posts and get myself a nice nap going on.

You and your husband are in my prayers; I hope his tests come back negative.

I envy you going to your shrink appointment.  One of the stipulations of my being approved for surgery was that I re-enter counseling, but the counselor cut me loose saying she didn't feel I needed it.  I guess I'm not as nuts as I thought!

I feel like a whole new person after a nap, slept till 1:30 pm.  Up long enough to chatter at Dennis for 10 minutes before he headed off to work.  With our different schedules sometimes seems like we are 2 ships that pass each other in the bathroom every couple of days.

Hoping for good news for Todd.  Happy shrinking for you Vick.

The weather is grey and misty today.  Not going to get in a dog walk.  Heading to the gym after finding some protein to eat.  My dad is coming for a visit this weekend and we are having a short road trip to the cities for a coffee group this weekend.  Now short is relatively speaking.  We will be traveling for about 3 hours.  Other road trips I have taken with him have been across several states.

IT IS A FLAMINGO DANCER KATHY, NOT A FALMINGO.  SHE MIGHT LOOK LIKE A FLAMINGO THOUGH.

TODD HAS A SPOT ON HIS BLADDER THAT IS NOT CANCER YET, SO THEY ARE GOING  TO DO 6 WEEKS WORTH OF TREATMENT AGAIN. HE HAS GONE THROUGH THIS MANY TIMES. SO HE SHOULD BE OK AS FAR AS THE BLADDER GOES.  WE WILL SEE ABOUT HIS SPLEEN IN A MONTH IN DENVER.
