That is wonderful!  Are you sleeping good?  Bet it's a lot quieter in your bedroom.

I can't sleep without sleep aids either.  I've suffered from insomnia for 20 years.  My body doens't know to go to sleep if I don't take anything.  Hope it gets better for you.

I'm way past the guilt stage.  I was in an auto accident 20 years ago where I was rearended.  I injured my neck and they put me on Trazodone to sleep - ever since I have never been able to sleep without some prescription sleep aid.  It got worse with this surgery but now I'm taking Trazodone 100mg and 0.5 of Ambien which seem to give me about 6 hours of sleep with one potty wake up.  Not bad.

Congratulations on being sober for 22 years - that's a hard thing to beat.  I work with patients that have that problem or drug addiction.

Yeayyyyyyyyyyyy Vick! I know you are doing the happy dance!   I used to work for Lincare, and set people up with cpap and bipap machines, also worked with many patients who were already using them, or supposed to be but struggled. So I know how hard those are to deal with.

Good job on the weight loss too! So proud of you and happy for you!

Now I have never had to use one, but when the kids were younger and I was working nights, when it was the weekend and they and my ex were around the house, I had to use a fan to drown out noise to sleep. I have had to use one since. I hear every little thing without it running, and even if it is quiet, I can't sleep well without one running now. Drives my husband crazy sometimes, but I figure since i have to live with his terrible snoring nightly, he can live with the fan... or move to the guest room..lol. Without the fan his snoring just makes me too nutz!

Kathy, good luck with the next set of lab work!
