Took a nice walk today...and other musings

It was beautiful out today, mid 50's and sunny. I am feeling much better too as far as the strep goes...still not over it for sure, but it is definately more tolorable! So I decided i needed to get out there and get some fresh air and exercise. My hubby and i walked 1.2 miles, not at my normnal quick pace, but at a pace my recovering body (from surgery that is) could handle without much discomfort.  About 1/2 way through the walk, when we were approaching the hilly part of the walk, I tarted wondering if I were crazy for deciding to take this route instead of going to the end of the road and back (the close end at that..lol) But I made it ok. I did end up with some swelling in my legs and abdominal area. It even put 3 lbs of water weight on me..  ughhhh just when I was all happy about hitting 158... oh well... it'll work its way back out of me eventually if not sooner right?!?

Hope you all had a lovely day today and took a bit of time to enjoy life in some way. Have a wonderful evening this evening and a great day tomorrow!

Hugs!

Drink even more fluid to help flush the swelling out.  Back to the basics for each of us.  Hugs.

Oh by the way its supposed to be 62 and sunny tomorrow (Thursday) and then back to cold and rain, oh well we turn our clocks back this weekend and next week is first day spring woo hoo.

Your so funny you crack me up I started reading your above post you said you and hubby were walking and approaching the hilly part and I thought you were trying to say I (farted) wondering if I but I realized you meant to say instead of (tarted) you meant (started) (started) wondering if I was crazy for deciding to take this route
so all I was thinking was you were going fart and that would give you more energy to endure the hilly part of the walk. Sorrryyyy either way started or farted you did it and sounds like it was a great walk for you both. Im sure you were swollen and in some pain and the darn water gain is always an up and down, but its the best thing for us all. If water is going in it will eventually come out and its so good for the healing process. keep chuggin the h20. Hugs sorry if Im to embarrassing, but this was just such a cute rattle boo moment of the  (started or farted ir tarted)hope Im not making you embarrassed or to modest.  Hugs always,mk

Heck no you didn't emarass me! It was supposed to read started... but i am certain during our walk I likely farted too! Thank goodness i am  far enough out in my surgery, that I can trust my farts more than early pre-op! lol.
Hugs back at ya lady!... i think it is YOU who cracks ME up!
