well here it is 5:45 am and i have been up since about 3:30.  the birds aren't even chirping yet and the sun is still sleeping.

don't know what i will do today.  i still haven't started working on my flamingo dancer.  i think i am a little scared to, afraid i will mess it up again.  i keep looking at the paper and imaging what i need to do and i just can't quite make myself put charcol to paper.  keep your fingers crossed.

the medicine my husband has started taking for his stomach has started to work.  it is wonderful that he is feeling better.  he is still weak and gets dizzy and hurts but at least he is not having stomach problems. he has put on weight since he started feeling better, that is wonderful.  thank all of you for your support.  we still have to get through this cancer search but they don't seem too concerned in denver.  we are going there april 12th and will see the doc after labs, xray, pulmonary tests  on april 13th.   before we go there, todd will have another cat scan of his spleen.  hope it hasn't grown any, that will be good. let's keep our fingers crossed.  i'm still scared but at least there is hope.  thank you once again.  yipppeee!!!! for hope.

how are all of you doing?  are you being good to yourself?  get plenty of rest, protein, liquids, fiber and supplements.  vitamins are really important after wls. it can literally be life or death.

hope u have a wonderful day. take care. hugs, vick

I got to spend the night "on call" instead of working, slept great.  Got up this morning to dreary weather.  The streets are wet, mist or rain during the night.  Am I going to let this affect my day?  NOOOOOOO WAY.  Getting up and at em, had a grapefruit while deciding what protein today.  Craved is, maybe my body is telling me more vit c today.  The scale dropped part of a pound, the walks outdoors may be paying off.  I know I have a better attitude when I have had fresh air and sunshine.

I have an appointment for my routine diabetes stuff this afternoon, expecting to be put back on something for the cholesterol, haven't been on anything for the last 6 months since surgery and the number crept up a bit.  Family history, can't beat the stacked deck.

Have a great day, glad to hear that something is going better for Todd.  Hugs
