No gallstones!!

I got my results back from my ultrasound, gall bladder and kidneys are normal.... but let me tell you that ultrasound hurt!!!  They were pressing deep into my ribs and side (which was already tender) for about an hour!! UGGH!  So the surgeon said my muscles just might need more time to heal completely on right side, my biggest incision is on the right and it was more sore than any others.. so it's starting to feel better- I just want to get back to exercising!! Right now its just sore, like I have done 1000 sit ups or something!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Great to hear all is well! It is likely muscle wall bruising causing your pain. They have to really stretch em out to do the work. I had an area that hurt quite a bit and there wasn't even an incision or any thing visable there.. it was due to muscle bruising.
Happy healing!

Good news Liz. I had very little pain til about the 3rd week and then began having a lot more in my left side where my biggest incision is. Most of the pain was in an area without an incision so I'm assuming it was muscle bruising like Patrece said. That same part of my abdomen still feels half numb to the touch when I run my fingers across it. I guess that's from the nerves that are cut during surgery. It's a funny feeling, like when your foot is half asleep. Glad everything else looks good. Congrats on your weight loss so far.

liz, so glad no kidney or gall stones.  my doc takes out the gall bladder when he does the surgery because so many of his patients had trouble with them afterwards.  please take it easy so you don't wind up hurting yourself. take care. congrats on the weight loss. vick
