okay I was checking my yahoo mail and on the side there was an ad for a weight loss product, and before WLS I was always looking for something...this was something called sensa...and you could get a 30 day free trial just for shipping and handling...and it said you could lose 30 pounds in 2 months or something like that...and as I am looking at the site...it felt weird to realize...I dont need to lose 30 pounds...or even 20 anymore....just gave me a weird but good feeling to know I didn't need to try another "fad" product...

What a wonderful feeling.  I am in a stall and seem to be seeing all kinds of weight loss commercials on TV.  I want to do this with the tool of my surgery and not think of all the 'fad' things out there.

Kathy, you have come so far and done such a good job. Try not to let it get you down, but instead keep doing what you've been doing and in the meantime, celebrate this wonderful success that you have had so far. Mentally go over all the great changes in your life since losing so much weight, and every time the doubts try to creep in push them right back out by going over this list.
I know all to well about the mind games we play with ourselves after so many years of failed diets. Don't let them defeat you!  (I need to take my own advice). Funny how it's easy to counsel others and so difficult not to be hard on ourselves!!!

Hugs,
Rhonda

Isn't that great - I have had the same feelings and it's an amazing thought that we don't need those any more! We have something much better if we use it as directed!
