Hoping everyone is having a great day today!

Just wanted to post and let you all know that I am hoping today is a wonderful day for you all. Take just a few minutes to be nice to you... I realized just a few minutes ago, I haven't really done this for myself lately, other than by taking naps that my healing body is demanding of me.

I have been on the mend from my surgery, and have also been pretty wrapped up with helping my daughter through a time of not feeling so well, not much help, but helped as much as I could, and then seeing to my husbands needs and trying to sooth his sadness. Worrying about my Grandkids, as one had strep and the other had Pmeumonia. Trying to catch up on things not taken care of in my abscense and during my fist week home after surgery. Ahhhhhh... not fun really. Feeling stressed.

So many of you and others I know have been feeling stress and pressure and depression lately. So, please just take a few moments for you. Give yyourself whatever you need to feel good for just a while, it will stay with you and help make your day a bit brighter.
Hugs!

(((Patrece))),

Thank you for the reminder of doing something nice for ourselves and I hope that is a piece of advice you are taking for yourself as well.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers.  They say God doesn't give us more than we can handle but it sure does seem like He has a lot more confidence in ourselves than we do.

You are a strong lady and I admire you a great deal.

Thank you gals!
I am taking it as easy as i can. Today I was just pooped! I took two naps! Then didn't even feel like cooking, so we went out to dinner at a little cafe nearby. I took the rest of my stitches out tonight too.  I am planning to finish checking posts and email, then work on my sewing project I have going for a bit. I am already tired, but want a little time to sew today, so I am going to take it, even if for just a short time.

I am woman hear me ROARRRRRR... meow!
Hugs!

Meow toooooo.  I took some time today to get the car washed, everyone else came up with the dsame idea, 30 minutes waiting in line playing this neat game the dogs love called "pet the puppy".  I relaxed and scratched the dogs, sang to tunes from the oldies, relatively speaking.  The dogs didn't howl, no one honked their horns in line.  Of course the clean finish won't last, but I did manage to get home and the car into the garage without too many puddles.  It will probably be there for the next few days.  Got my hair trimmed while I was out and about.  Always feel a little better with a fresh trim.

Dennis joined me at the grocery store today, he hauled in the bags and put things away while I went to wash the car.  Hinted that he wash both for the last week, no luck with hinting.  As he dropped me off for work tonight I plain ol' asked him to shave his stubble tonight.  The grunt I heard seemed to acknowledge that he heard and was agreeing.  I will know more in the am.

I am on my break and catching up with things I missed during the day today.  Have a great one everyone.  Hugs
