Unjury Chicken Soup Protein Powder
I didn't care for the sample I had of it either plus you have to be careful not to get it too hot or it will "curdle."
You aren't quite a month out from surgery yet, you may be able to tolerate it down the road. That happened with one of the protein powders I bought pre-op. It was okay then, couldn't stand it early post-op but now I can deal with it with a banana blended in.
If you can find someone who wants it, you may be able to add a little extra protein to chicken dishes, gravy, soup, etc. Just a thought.

You could try to mix it with just a bit more water, I find it a little salty. Add some of it to the water when making instant potatoes to increase the protein. Incorporate it into soups for more protein. You may develop a taste for it after a bit. there are folks on here that use this regularly. I am still working on my first can. I did enjoy it when I was on liquids and tired of sweet things all the time.
If you do not send it back for a refund.. Linda is in need of some protein supplements (aka just meeee). So, anyone who had protein they are not in need of, please keep her in mind. PM me and I will look up her address and give it to you.
