Wow, the weekend again and another chapter in the lives of our friends here at OH who are scheduled for surgery in the next week.  Let's take a moment this weekend to send a note off to these fortunate folks who are starting the next phase in weight loss.  Either initial surgery, revisions or plastic surgery.  One way that we can show our support for others is to share notes back and forth.  I try to keep up on the latest and greatest for the friends I have here on OH.  Please feel free to add anyone else that you know to the thread.    March 1 ccdawn39, 2 Justine L., RuthieNY, 3 acmorris1981, Michael K., stedix, 4 suzi_1956, 5 nsilswb,     Not appologizing, but explaining that I am so sorry that I didn’t get this posted earlier this weekend. I did take the well spoken advice and took some ME time first. I got ME all tired out with the travelling I did this weekend. More of that in another posting.  Hugs, Kathy

Just wanted to wish all those having surgery this week all best.  May it be everything you hope for.  Don't forget to write in when you're feeling good, feeling bad or just want babble (I do that daily!)

Good luck and we will have a space on the loser's bench ready for you.

What a nice way to go into surgery, knowing others will be thinking of us.  I, like most am anxious and wonder what it will be like after the surgery.

Will I learn how to live differently?  Will I adjust to new eating habits, etc.  I hope to lean on this group some as I learn a new way of life.

Hey I made it through surgery!  They said all went really well and I just had my swallow test and its looking good so they finally gave me some little cups to sip from.  I've been up a few times walking and the pain isn't as bad as I was expecting... but it's still painful and I'm looking forward to healing!

Welcome to the losing side of surgery Justine.  Time to start the frequent sips to go with the walks.  Speedy healing.  Hugs
