Update on my PS progress..
Well the last 24 hour period for measuring and recording the output from my drain ended at noon yesterday. it was 37 cc for the 24 hour time frame. Dr. S. asks that we stay in touch via email every few days to keep hom updated on how things are going. So yesterday i did in fact email him and informed him of the drain amount. He gave me the go ahead to remove this last drain. I decided I would wait until after the noon tally today, just to make sure this last 24 hour period didn't show an increase. So far it is looking like the output will be in the 20's somewhere. So I will finally be rid of that bugger! It is hard sometimes, trying to hide it in your clothing when going out in public, and I for one am not comfortable with allowing it to just "hang out there" for all the world to see. Will be nice to not look like I have a growth under my shirt! lol.
I am allowed to remove my sutures at 21 days out, which officially is sunday evening, but will probably do it Monday. We'll see how much energy i have to spare Sunday PM. It will be very nice to have those out as well. THEN just 3 more weeks of these compression garments. In one week I can go to wearing them just at night if i want to, but we'll see on that. I have a feeling the longer I wear them consistantly, the tighter everything will readhere. BUT will be nice to take a break from wearing them more often anyhow.
So far so good! No complications, no real difficulties, everything is going great with healing. I do hope and pray it continues to go smoothly for me.
Thanks everyone for all of your encouragement, support and just listening to (reading) my ramblins!
stay tuned.. pics coming very soon. I am going to have candice take some for me a little later today. Will post em either today or tomorrow. Some will be posted in our group photo album. Some will be password protected under my profile.
Hugs and love to all. Hope you are all doing great and have a most wonderful day!

I'm so glad to hear you are doing well Patrece. It scared me when I heard how many procedures you did simultaneously! You are a very brave woman!
You are correct to be cautious about removing things that are "holding you together", so to speak. We wouldn't want you to fall apart at the seams! LOL
Waiting (im)patiently for those pics!

Thanks for the update, glad you are progressing and things are going smoothly. I'm sure having that last drain out will be a big relief. Like Amalia said, we don't want you falling apart at the seams - I'd wear the compression garments longer too! Keep taking good care of yourself and we are very happy for you1

Thanks gals! Even after my 6 weeks with the compression garments, I will wear them any time I am going to be active, like walking, cleaning the house, out running around all day, etc.
Thanks gals for the surrport! I too would hate to have me falling apart at the seams... it would be a pretty ugly picture! lol.
