Ok so it has been one month AND one day since my surgery!!  I had my follow up with my surgeon yesterday and everything is going great, I have lost 30 lbs!!  woohoo!!
The surgeon is sending me for an ultra sound next week to check my gallbladder though- I was having some pain/ soreness on my right side above my ribs.   The pain is not constant and does not last long.... Hopefully it is nothing!

Also wanted to let everyone know of a great tasting protein powder!!!  Nectar Roadside lemonade- I mix it with 16oz water and it tastes just like crystal light!!  The other flavor I have tried is fuzzy naval which I like also, but the lemonade is my favorite!!!

WOOOOO HOOOOOOO Great job on the weight loss! congrats! isn't it sooo exciting!
Thanks too for sharing the protein drink info! Can I ask is it sugar free do you know? I am always in search of new ways to get my protein in, espcially now with healing up from my PS.

Its a funny thing with WLS. Most everyone tends to lose from the top down. So it does tend to show in the face first, then gradually moves it way down your bod..lol.

Congratulations Liz, you are doing great! Today is my 3 week anniversary and I have lost 21 lbs. I had been stuck at 19 lbs for 3 or 4 days and was trying to remember that most people have that 3 week stall. It went down 2 lbs this morning making me happy and then I stopped and thought "21 lbs in 21 days is great, what are you upset about???!!!" You know those mind games we play that can drive us nuts. Hope you don't have any issue with your gallbladder, they took mine out during my surgery because I had several big stones. Good luck witht the ultrasound.

Thanks rhonda! Sounds like you are doing great! 21 lbs in 21 days is awesome! I think I just need to remember that I'm not going to lose all my extra weight overnight!
