After all the wait and worry.. I finally have a date!
I will be having my surgery on March 16th!

I am thinking about changing my name to Sybil.. because I feel like I am on a emotional roller coaster right now!

Congrats!  You'll be fine.  The staff will treat you well, too!  (and the anesthesiologist?  Easy on the eyes, perfect last person to see before you go under!  lol)

Counting down the days with you, good luck - isn't it exciting??

Hoping you got the other issues worked out too!

Very exciting. Hang on to the relaxed, calm, and excited personality - because this will go well, I'm sure!

I could not access my FSA, but my nephew (who is in the army) gave me the money I needed to prepay and I will give it back to him once I can access my funds.

I never would have asked him, but his mom called him to let him know what was going on and he never hesitated.  He told his mom to give him her account number and he transfered the money into her account.

After having some issues with family support, It's nice to know that when it counts they will there for me..

OK I have to stop before I start crying.. again...

It's so nice that family is there to support you in your time of need.  I'm so very glad it's working out for you!  Now it's time to prepare.  Get some protein powder on hand, and make sure you have a good pillow and some lip balm for the hospital.  Dr. Lalor says no vitamins until after the 2-week post op check (I just started taking mine yesterday), so you still have time for that.

Make sure you keep on sipping, and be a good girl when it comes to your 2-week pre-op diet.  I lost 15 lbs on that alone!  And it helps the doc by making his job easier too, which makes things easier on you.

Take care and keep us posted.  And if you end up with Wendy and / or Jeana for nurses please tell them I said hello - they are amazing!

Congrats, that is great news. Believe me, the emotional roller coaster continues on after surgery, so just buckle up and hang on and try to enjoy the ride!
