Hi Everyone!  I had surgery on Friday and was released from the hospital on Sunday.  I am home, resting and sipping away my day.  I do have a question though!!!  I was wondering if any one has still felt their stomach growl?  I don't know if this is weird or not but my stomach is growling.  I would love to know about your post surgery hunger!!!!

Thanks!

Some people have pouches that are more verbal than others.  Mine used to make more noises, not as much lately.  My hunger was gone for the first few weeks, sad to say, it is back and I am working on the head hunger.

Hi Tammy. Congrats on your surgery! I have to say I had major growling going on.. I am talking like an angry bear! It seemed off to me for sure. Most people do not experience hunger for a few months after surgery, but I felt it from the get go. I got to where when I felt it, I would take a few sips of a protein shake and it helped not only get the protein in using the growling as my que, but also to get the growling to stop. I did notice when I was where you are, that if I drank plain water, the growling and hunbger feeling actually increased!

Now, at over a year and a half out, my pouch (I nic named Bubbles) still makes lots of noises at times, buit they are differnt sounding and feel different than those ones early out.
