I got my first email from Patrece this afternoon.  She is up and about, not sleeping well. She has had 2 of her 3 drains removed.  The last one will probably accompany her back to her home.  Passed on greetings from this great group.

I also spoke to Vick on the phone.  I found her TX drawl cute.  I live within 100 miles of Canada and in the state of MN my entire life.

Hi Kathy,  Again thanks for the update on Patrece. Good to hea she is up and moving about. Hope she is continues to improve and feel better, get her strength and start to get some sleep. We all know how important that is.

Have a great week, and hope the weather isnt to brutal in the midwest. Had a beautiful weekend here in Cal, planned to get to the Mavericks on Saturday, but never made it. The wave that came up to the beach area and knocked down and injured several was just an amazing Mother Nature act, I did get to the area Pacifica today and the waves were the biggest and wildest I have ever seen since living here for over 14years. No wonder why the Mavericks were so wild yesterday. There were waves as high as 15-20 feet today and just slamming into the coast. It was a beautiful sunny warm day and Mother Nature was showing her true self. They said yesterday waves were about 60 ft. All amazing.

Thanks Kathy, so happy to hear Patrece is doing so well.   Bless her hear, won't be long and she will be back home.     Happy to hear you had a enjoyable v day with your hubby.   We had a good one here too.   Of course the hubby was here with me and my daughter, hubby and three grands were here also.   They had wanted to get mammaws new laminate installed for her but they all had to throw in the towels last night about ten as everyone was getting exhausted.   It is looking so pretty and will be finished today as everyone will be home due to the holiday and I am rescheduling my post op check due to another round of snow coming in.   We are looking at upwards of 6-9 inches so since I seem to be doing well I will opt to just call and reschedule rather than take a chance of getting stranded somewhere between here and there.   Hugs.............Anna
