Hello All!  I am a week and a half out from my lap band surgery and have started the soft foods diet.  I'm doing great, but I would LOVE some recipes or food ideas that you all have as right now I'm going off the little sample food plan and I'm going to get real bored, real quick.  :)  Thanks in advance.

What foods have you had up to this point?

Try adding powdered milk to the water when preparing hot cereal to up the protein content.  Refried beans with melted cheese shreds, cottage cheese, yogurt.  Greek yogurt has a higher protein content than regular yogurt, plain tastes like sour cream, flavor with crystal light powder, sugar free jelly, sugar free coffee syrups, meatloaf, seafood.

remember you can puree food in your blender so that will give u a few more options. stay away from anything with seeds, like razberries or strawberries. seeds are bad for your stomach righ not.  hang in there, it won't last that long. vick
