Hi Vick, this is a list I got from my surgeon's office.  Went back to double check the list for typos, none, I do believe that they are talking about the unabridged version.  We have the abridged ones at home.

Thought we could all use a little fun look at our losses.  you are welcome.

I lost the equivelent on an elephant penis, a car tire, a bald eagle, an ostrich egg, a human brain and a guinea pig.  No matter how I look at this, that is a lot of losing.  This is a reprint from several months ago, I plan to repost from time to time.

Happy losing everyone.

I would like to just at least lose 1 pound. I am still in my 6 month supervised diet and having trouble losing weight. Anybody got any helpful advice?

Hi Missy, I recall being in your shoes about a year ago when I started this process.  Take this one day at a time.  It took a lifetime to get to where you are and over time, you will develop the new needed habits that will get you losing.

I was once told to try to make 1 small change at a time.  A nice spot to start is to start using a salad plate instead of a dinner plate.  Set the fork down between bites and taste and chew your food.  In work, I would grab quick bites while going to the next task.  This learning to eat slowly took time.

Are you doing any exercise?  Walking?  If unable to tolerate walking, work on arms, legs using household items, lift soup cans, increasing the weight as tolerated.

Stop drinking soda if you do, even diet soda leads to weight gain.  Don't want to overwhelm you in one posting.  Looking forward to seeing what you are doing at this point.  Hugs
