I am back!
Ok so I am done! I had surgery on Wed, Feb 3rd. I feel GREAT! besides the fact that I was stabbed six times and have enough air in me to float along the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade things went really well. I was able to leave the hospital one day early, they keep you an ungodly amount of time in Germany and I walked a lot today. Maybe a little too much, but once I got out I had to walk back. I need to be more careful about that for a while. I was losing my marbles for a while, but realized I hadn't had enough to eat today. I ate some stuff and have been great ever since.
Honestly the worst part so far was the bowel prep and everyone will have to do that some day. So no getting out of that one anyway. As you can tell from my blabbering I am down right hyper. SOOOOOOOOO relieve it is over! The lead up was so stressful, but nothing compared to what I have experienced so far. I even got on the Wii fit just to slap it around a bit for all the times it told me I gained weight.
Thank you everyone!

Congrats on making it over to the losing side Rebecca. I didn't need to do a bowel prep for wls, did have to do one for a colonoscopy a couple of years ago, talk about the scoots. Take care, small circular walks, you can always do another lap and not be too far from home. I learned that the hard way after surgery once too. Hugs, Kathy
