Hi everybody.

I hope you all had a good weekend.  Had a nice visit with my son this weekend and took him back to his place this morning.  I made dinner and was foolish enough to eat some mashed potatoes.  Maybe only about a 1/4 cup but I am experiencing dumping as a result.  This has happened in the past and I just don't learn lessons very quickly.

I finally had to take my wedding rings off and and decided that, for now, I'm going to wear them on my middle finger. They are on there nice and solid.  I was worried that I was going to lose them.

Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet weekend.  Mom is watching TV in the living room, hubby upstairs watching TV and the cat is in the hallway whining.  All is well in my world and hope you are all having as much peace as I am right now.

I belong to 2 other gastric bypass groups.  There was a bit of contention the last couple of days over a post made by one of the members.  She made a reference to the stupid, whiny, repeated questions that were asked all the time.  I still can't believe that anybody is that rude on purpose and it really made me grateful that I have this group to come to and not worry about judgement or criticism.  Thank you to all.

Colleen, I don't mind repeated questions.  It is hard to go back enough posts to get all the answers.  I too like the positive note of this group.  Ask away folks, no question too odd.  The only dumb question is the one you do not ask, no one will be able to reply and help you.

Whining is allowed here, sometimes that is just what you need to lift a load off your mind.  I too whine from time to time.  Just kick me back on track and life starts again.
