Bariatric Buddy
Initial consult was today!
i guess this is weird cuz i did all my other appts before hand. i am cleared for wls, just need to finish my 3 month diet then off to bcbs for approval. i'm excited but i am gonna have some issues with the pureed foods, i wonder if i can eat baby food for the veggies?
Anyway i begin my exercise classes this week, and next week i will be doing it 4 days a week, i really need to exercise, i keep thinking of ways or reasons not to go to the classes, but deep down i know i need to, and besides it will be people like me, pre and post so i won't be embarrassed i even got swim suits for the aqua exercises (woman within ) good prices on suits and i used an online coupon, i got two suits for $107. including tax and delivery.
So i am excited really excited moving ahead.

I wouldn't worry about the pureed foods. By that time, you will not have much appetite and what foods you need to get in first will be the proteins. I only had to do pureed for 1 week then on to soft foods. I used refried beans, yogurt, pureed meatloaf, pureed cottage cheese and protein shakes during the pureed week.
Good to go for the exercise. You will get out of it based on the effort put into the exercise. Go forth and exercise. The more weight you manage to lose before surgery, the easier the surgery will be on you and for your surgeon to do the surgery. Start developing the good positive habits that we need for our lifetime. Hugs, keep up the good work. Kathy
