well today is still full of snow.  my grandkids spent the night last night and it was nice. today i must ventrue out to the grocery store. luckily my grandson scooped the driveway in front of the garage so he could play basketball.  nice to have the damn cat around.  he got a heroes welcome..  my husband continues to feel worse and worse. it really worries me. mainly his stomach is upset all the time. and just feels yucky.  he has another catscan of his lymph nodes monday after next.  keep your fingers crossed.

they are having a pastel art show in april, i want to do some paintings to enter. never even won an honorable mention though.  there are some really good artists who enter.  oh, well, never hurts to try.

what is on your plate today.  getting enough protein and water?  how about exercise? be sure and eat enough so you don't go into starvation mode. that will keep you from losing weight.  fine line we all have to walk, isn't it?  welp, have a grand old day.  vick

Afternoon Vick, I am sooooo glad that Amalia is home safe and sound.  Looking forward to more new losing members this week.  Nice to have your grandkids around, even nicer that the drive was shoveled.

I think you should go for the art show.  You need something to keep you distracted from the rest of life.  Think positive, positively positive.  I see talent in the art that you have been posting.

Welcome back cat, your hubby could have the feline version of a cat scan several times during the next week, although the medical CT scan will tell you more detailed info.  Hope Todd feels his best possible.

I had hot cereal with protein for breakfast, rotisserie chicken and cauliflower for lunch.  Thinking turkey chili for supper.  Working on things that I listed in Colleen's thread.  Hopefully, I will get them done.

More later.  Hugs, Kathy

Vickie, glad your prodigal cat returned. Sorry about your husband, I hope they find the problem and it's something easy to take care of. Hope you've enjoyed the grandkids. Definitely go for it with the art show. You have a lot of talent lady! Hope you are making progress with your doctor ordered weight gain!
I have been doing very well with my preop diet (Atkins style eating), It was tough the first couple days just because a case of nerves made me want to eat everything in sight, especially sugary sweet things! But I am down to business now! Gotta be ready for that surgery Friday.

Hope all the buddies are having a good day!
