Hi all!

I am feeling a little better today and hopefully will have a little energy to do something other than sit at the computer or watch TV.  I can't do an exercise for a few more days so going to the gym is out.  Maybe I'll mop the kitchen floor, it sure does need it.

I'm happy to report that I lost another 2 pounds; that's puts me at a total of 64.  Food wasn't great yesterday, I ate way too many carbs but still stayed within my calorie limit.  Today I'm going to make a soup recipe that I got from the 5 Day Pouch Test website.  I was going to make it the other just didn't have the energy for it.

So what do you all have planned for today?

2 pounds is great glad your feeling better. I cant wait for my surgery on Feb. 18th. so I can report how much I have lost. I am going to church this morning then home to do laundry, which probably will take all day since I haven't done any in 2 days, in a house of six, thats way to long to wait. thanks for sharing, keep on updating.

i keep saying that  my clothes procreate in the laundry basket , seems like they are having babies so quickly. vick

I too plan to start with church, then run a couple errands.  I picked up a couple wooden cubes to fashion into an end table and will assemble them.  Exercise at the gym.  Most of importantly rest and relaxation.

Started the day with cream of wheat enriched with powdered milk for extra protein.  Stick to the ribs meal.  I have the car prewarming, minus 2 degrees out there this morning.  Thank goodness for remote start.

have you ever tried malt o meal?  i love that stuff. i putt powdered milk in it to increase the protein also.  have a good day kathy. love ya, vick

Even though I read the box that says malt o meal, I substitute and typed cream of wheat for the cereal.  Box dyslexia for me today.  I add 1/2 cup of powdered milk granules to the 1/2 cup of water I use to prepare my portion of cereal.  Usually a couple of bites left over for the pups too.  Even add a little cinnamon and splenda to it, yummmmm.  The dogs don't mind the cinnamon.

colleen, sounds like u are feeling better. that is great.  that is woundbar losing that 2 pounds.  64 pounds is nothing to sneeze at. what does that leave you with to go?  hope u enjoy church and i am glad u are feeling better. vick
