Vicki,
The cat I have now is an indoor cat but when I was still with my ex-husband we always had outdoor cats.  I would worry and worry about them freezing to death in the Michigan winters, but they never did.  They always find a place to stay warm or will come home and want to be let in if they can't.  He'll be fine.

I envy your day in jammies; I had to go to the doctor and now I'm waiting for the cable guy as we are switching companies.  What I really want is to go to bed with a book or a movie.

Hi everyone, I started my day out with another 90 minute workout at curves then came home to about 30 minutes of mammaw duty.   Just put a big pot of chili on the stove to cook.   With the cold weather it sounded good to me.   Made the hubby and I garden salads for lunch and of course added lots of protien.  Going to have mammaw duty again in about a hour till later this evening so didn't think it would be a good day to continue on with the painting project.   lol.  Oh well, maybe tomorrow.   Vicki I see on the news where your weather isn't that nice, sorry.   The cat truly will be ok though they are tough little critters.   We have had several, all gone now.   I have my brothers cat here in the house with us now till further notice due to his displacement from his home due to a fire.   Our three little dogs keep us plenty busy though.  lol.

Cats are very durable and will find somewhere warm to hang out, or return and demand to be back indoors with you.  I went to the gym with Dennis before heading to bed.  I had 10,000 steps on the pedometer by 8:30 am.  Yes, lots of steps at work last night.  I was sleeping, for some reason found myself talking on the telephone, don't really recall hearing it ring.  It did, and apparently I agreed to be on call for part of the evening shift.  My hubby witnessed the agreement and asked if I was out of my mind.  I was 3/4 asleep when I made the agreement.

I woke up mid afternoon, got the box of hair color out, covered the grays and feel so much better about my hair.  Dennis says that I did agree to a work shift this afternoon, just got off the phone with them, things are flowing smoothly at the moment and I get to stay here snug in my fleece nightgown with me feet up.  Life works out.

Dennis cooked while I was sleeping.  The kitchen smells of food, what a day.  Exercise, rest, a meal I didn't cook, and a little pampering.  I can take this.

Sounds like everyone had a pretty good day. Kathy, you'd better move the phone away from your side of the bed so you don't agree to things when half asleep that you might regret later!

I had a very hectic day at work, brought a ton of paperwork home to try and work on over the weekend, gotta get a lot done before my last day next  Thursday. We went to Walmart to get dog food tonight and found it almost as busy as black Friday. There's a winter storm advisory for this whole corner of of state and all the natives panic when snow and ice are predicted. All the transplanted Yankees around here laugh at us, LOL. We rarely get that kind of weather and so we don't have the knowledge or the equipment to deal with it when it does come. People buy up all the bread and milk and act like starvation might be right around the corner. And yes, we did buy bread and bottled water and a few other things while we were there. But Walmart is our usual Friday night outing, so nothing out of the ordinary other than the crowd.

Vickie, our cats seem to do fine when our weather gets really cold (for us). They just disappear somewhere holed up, and come out when it warms up. Try not to worry.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rhonda
